The Louth Poc Fada 2011 qualifiers for Senior and Under 16, were held on Monday evening 13th June at the Dundalk Young Irelanders Pitch.

In the Under 16 competition there were entries from Knockbridge, Pearse Og and Naomh Moninne . Knockbridge’s Ronan O Maolchallann took the honours ahead of Shane Connolly (Naomh Moninne) with last year’s All Ireland finalist Dónall Connolly in 3rd place.

The Senior title was won by Padraig Mulholland of Naomh Moninne closely followed by team mate Padraig Murphy with David Mulholland of Pearse Og finishing 3rd.

The Louth Camogie qualifiers were held at the end of May in Collon with the current Leinster Champion Voureen Quigley (Kilkerley) successfully defending her Louth title.

Congratulations and the very best of luck to Voureen, Padraig and Ronan who will represent Louth at this year’s Leinster Finals which will be held at the Curragh Army Camp, Co. Kildare on July 6th.
