Louth GAA Supporters Club present gym equipment at Louth GAA Centre of Excellence in Darver
Members of the Louth GAA Supporters Club presented new Sports equipment for use in the Gymnasium at Darver on Tuesday night last , 2nd. November 2010 . The new Equipment , valued at €25,000-00 was funded by the Supporters Club activities [ Membership , Half Time Draws , etc ] during the year .
Jimmy Myers , Chairman Louth GAA Supporters Club handed the Equipment over to Players representatives Aaron Hoey , Ronan Greene and Liam Shevlin who demonstrated the proper usage of same .Peter Fitzpatrick & Gerry Cumiskey were also present . J.Myers hoped that the provision of same would enhance and improve the physical well-being of Louth players in all codes and that the long term results of structured indoor training regimes would assist teams in their preparations for Leagues & Championships , especially in the impressive surroundings of the Darver Centre of Excellence . He congratulated Paddy Keenan on his All-Star & International Rules selection , also John O`Brien on his All-Star Nomination.
Committee members also present included Hon. President Peter Hoey, Fiona Myers, Bernie Kirke, Brian Matthews, Seamus Thornton, Pat Hamilton, James McKeown & Myles O'Reilly.
